In this paper, we consider the inviscid 3D Boussinesq system in Besov spaces and obtain the lower bound for the lifespan of solutions.     

On grand Lebesgue spaces on sets of infinite measure

We consider grand Lebesgue spaces on sets of infinite measure and study the dependence of these spaces on the choice of the so‐called. We also consider Mikhlin and Marcinkiewicz theorems on Fourier multipliers in the setting of grand spaces.     

Equilibrium analysis for a mass-conserving model in presence of cavitation

We study the existence of equilibrium positions for the load problem in Lubrication Theory. The problem consists of two surfaces in relative motion separated by a small distance filled by a lubricant. The system is described by the modified Reynolds equation (Elrod–Adams model) which describes the behavior of the lubricant and an extra integral equation given the balance of forces. The balance of forces allows to obtain the unknown position of the surfaces, defined with one degree of freedom.     

A note on commutators of Hardy operators

Fu and Lu et al. 7 showed that the commutator $\mathcal {H}_{\beta ,b}$ generated by the fractional Hardy operator and a locally integrable function b is bounded on the homogenous Herz spaces if and only if b is a central bounded mean oscillation function. We show that their result is optimal by giving a counterexample.     

Strong Convergence Theorems for the Generalized Viscosity Implicit Rules of Asymptotically Nonexpansive Mappings in the Intermediate Sense in Hilbert Spaces

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to introduce the generalized viscosity implicit rules of one asymptotically nonexpansive mapping in the intermediate sense in Hilbert spaces. We obtain some strong convergence theorems under certain assumptions imposed on the parameters. We also give a numerical example to support our main results. The results obtained in this paper improve and extend many recent ones in this culture.

Characterization of the Cone and Applications in Banach Spaces

Abstract

In this article, we first discuss the subduality and orthogonality of the cones and the dual cones when the norm is monotone in Banach spaces. Then, under different assumptions, the necessary and sufficient conditions for the ordering increasing property of the metric projection onto cones and order intervals are studied. Moreover, representations of the metric projection onto cones and order intervals are obtained. As applications, the solvability and approximation results of solutions to nonlinear discontinuous variational inequality and complementarity problems are proved by partial ordering methods.     

Mixed variational formulations in locally convex spaces

The main purpose of this paper is to extend to the setting of locally convex spaces the study of the mixed variational formulation of some elliptic boundary value problems, the so-called Babuška–Brezzi theory. This study consists of characterizing the existence of a solution and giving conditions that guarantee the stability of the corresponding Galerkin method.     

Composition operators on Hardy spaces of Riemann surfaces

Our purpose is to define composition operators acting upon Hardy spaces of Riemann surfaces. In terms of counting functions related to analytic self-map on Riemann surfaces, the boundedness and compactness are characterized.
